Next OHG- February 4, with Smallfish Adventures, and to celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week!

Hey friends! I’m very excited that we’ll have Evan Lefloch of Smallfish Adventures joining us, to sing and play for us “kids” of all ages!  Get ready to clap your hands, jump up & down, and sing along!
We will be meeting next Saturday, February 4, 6:30 PM, at New Hope Baptist Church (our adoptive home, at 2024 Redbud Dr. in Gastonia, on the corner or S. New Hope Rd. and Redbud) and host a celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week.  Put forward as a proposal at the UN by King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2010, the UN declared the first week of February a time to celebrate!  So we’ll be a part of this international event (see it listed here), please join us if you can!
You can RSVP at our Facebook event page.  Please also bring some snack-type food if you want, especially if it refelcts something about your own faith tradition (we wanna taste your faith, too!).  We’ll share stories of our interfaith activity over the years.  Please come ready to tell your stories, and also the basics of your faith traditions.

Please contact me in the meantime if you need anything else. Thanks, I look forward to seeing you there!

  1. To deny the exclusivity of Christianity is to deny the very core of Christianity. Jesus was never inclusive when it comes to reconciliation with God. If you were honest, you would say that you want a God that you feel comfortable with. Christianity is uncomfortable to you therefore you make it fit your inclusive view.

    – I am the way , the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. – Jesus
